Tourism, leisure & receptive

Brest is full of interesting places to visit.  Here is a short list of original activities and must-see destinations.

A trip on the Recouvrance

Climb aboard for an evening and step back in time on an authentic wooden ship from the beginning of the 19th century.

On the bridge, welcome your guests under an awning on one of the jewels of the French coast.  Treat your guests to a visit below deck in groups of 10 – 15 people. It will be the perfect occasion to discover part of Brest's rich maritime history.
The bridge is particularly well suited to receptions and can accommodate up to 80 people for drinks or a buffet supper. We also offer musical entertainment catering to all tastes: jazz, classical, sea shanties, etc.

All hands on deck!

Take a step back in time when you climb aboard a boat from Finistère's traditional fleet of sailing ships.

Imagine a morning as a 19th century sailor hot on the trail of smugglers. Listen to the creaking of the vessel and feel the wind in your hair. Imagine mooring in a hidden bay overlooked by a lighthouse… you’re there!
Brest’s fleet of traditional sailing ships: La Recouvrance, le Corentin, la Belle Etoile, la Belle Angèle, Notre Dame de Rumengol, and le Dahl Mad will help you to live the legends.
Piloted by a crew of professional sailors, these ships are ideal for team-building exercises: teamwork, competitive games, fishing, rope work, and even prize-giving ceremonies can be enjoyed on board…

Island bound!

Climb aboard for a cruise to the heart of the Iroise marine reserve to explore two islands on the end of the world: Molène and Ouessant.

Haul anchor and set sail from Brest’s commercial port. Your crossing to the islands will take you to the Molène archipelago maze of islets surrounded by clear turquoise seas: a paradise for a wide variety of marine birds and mammals.
Let yourself fall in love with Molène; with its labyrinth of blossoming lanes and stunning views of the islands and islets of the Molène-Ouessant archipelago.
Ouessant, or Ushant in English, is the biggest and also the highest of the islands in the Iroise Sea, and is home to some wild and extraordinary scenery.
